Vehicle Estimate
When a vehicle arrives on site it is pre-washed and a vehicle condition report is carried out. At this point if an estimate has not been compiled we will do so using our estimating systems which included Glassmatix, Audatex, Image Assessor and Inter-est.
Now the process will begin.
Vehicle Strip
The vehicle is allocated to the remove and refit department where the vehicle is stripped and checked for any further damage.
Replacement parts are checked or ordered and the vehicle is then prepared for the next stage of repair. It is allocated by the workshop manager to the panel or paint department.
Panel Shop
The panel department is where repairable panels are repaired and new panels are replaced and chassis alignment (if required) take place.
For this we use the latest equipment with our car-o-liner jigs.
Paint Shop
In the paint department the vehicle goes through numerous preparation stages. There are different techniques to treat new or repaired areas to keep the manufacturers warranty and assure that when we apply the colour coat the finish is of the highest standard.
At C.A.R.C we have a comprehensive colour library and equipment supported by ICI and sikkens to be able to recreate the manufacturers finish.
Vehicle Re-Fit
The vehicle will then return to the remove and refit department to be fitted back together. In this department we use the latest beissbarth wheel alignment machine and koolkare air-conditioning unit on vehicles if required.
Valet
The vehicle will be cleaned and newly painted areas burnished and polished before contact is made with the customer to tell them the repairs are completed.
